The project entitled "Teaching Courses in European Integration" proposed by the Ateneo de Manila University concerns the preparation, updating, and delivery of new and existing courses to by the European Studies Program. This project entails the delivery of four courses, which are: Policies and Institutions of the European Union; Economics of European Integration; European Political and Social Integration; and Evolution of European Integration toward the 20th Century. The first three on the list have been offered in the past, but its contents need to be updated to include recent events in the EU, such as the sovereign debt crisis and the refugee issue. The fourth course is completely new, and the support from the Jean Monnet grant will be used in gathering resources, finalizing the syllabus, and teaching the course.
