PARTICIPANTSProject’s participants: vocational training teachers.Project’s duration: 2016 06 01 – 2017 05 31, total 12 months. There will be three internships to United Kingdom, Italy and Spain. Total number of participants - 18.PARTNERSConsortium composition: Kaišiadorys School of Business and Technology (coordinator), Elektrėnai Vocational Training Centre, Aukštadvaris Agricultural School.Hosting partners: Idea-M (United Kingdom), ESMOVIA (Spain), AMFI Agenzia per la Mobilità e la Formazione Internazionale (Italy)OJECTIVESProject’s main goal: to improve vocational training teachers’ abilities of giving lectures and managing classes, where are national minorities’ students, to encourage tolerance and to diminish racism and discrimination in schools.Other objectives:• To improve participants’ educational, psychological and communication with students skills, especially teaching national minorities students, trying to achieve better motivation and their learning outcomes;• To educate participants’ abilities objectively manage problem situations in classes, related to racism, xenophobia and discrimination issues;• To raise participants’ sociability, cultural awareness, understanding and tolerance, which teachers would be able to impart to students;• To acquire modern vocational training methods individualizing vocational training process, to raise general level of participants’ qualification.PARTICIPANTS REQUIREMENTS1. Professional:• To improve vocational training teachers’ lessons giving and groups’ management skills in classes, where are national minorities students, acquire skills to work with such students;• To acquire skills how objectively manage problem situations in classes, related to racism, xenophobia and discrimination issues;• To improve educational, psychological and communication with students skills, especially teaching national minorities students;• To acquire modern vocational training methods individualizing vocational training process, to raise general level of qualification.• To become more sociable and tolerant, improve cultural awareness and understanding, learn how to impart that for students;2. Individual:• To improve foreign language skills;• To educate communicational skills in foreign environment, broaden cultural outlook and number of professional contacts;• To get familiar with foreign culture;• To enhance motivation for further improvement.EXPECTED PROJECT’S RESULTS• Completed qualifying internships under the internships’ programs.• Acquired internship’s evaluation certificates – Europasses, certificates of hosting organizations and project’s coordinator.• Made reports of internships.• Organised internships’ presentations at Consortium schools.• Raised level of the participants’ professional competences according to their professional requirements.• Created more tolerant learning environment, diminished level of racism, xenophobia and discrimination at Consortium schools.EVALUATION DOCUMENTSAcquired skills and competences of participants will be acknowledged with:• Europass Mobility Documents• Certificates of Hosting organisations• Certificate of KTVMDISSEMINATIONProject’s dissemination main goal: to introduce target groups with project’s implementation, its goals, activities and results, encourage tolerance, cultural awareness and understanding of people, spread European values and positive EU support possibilities.Methods of project’s dissemination: articles in web-pages and regional newspapers, stands and booklets about project, presentations of the internships and consideration of project’s results.IMPACTMain impact of the project: during the lectures observation activities teachers will improve their abilities of giving lectures and managing classes, where are national minorities’ students, as well as abilities of encouraging tolerance and fighting against racism and xenophobia in schools.Other impact:• Project will help to diminish racism and xenophobia cases in schools, create tolerant learning environment and educate intelligent young personalities;• Project will help to increase the level of international collaboration in educational field, improve learning process;• For project’s implementation responsible staff will improve organisational and managements skills. Acquired experience will lead to better project’s administration.• Internships presentations will help to spread participants’ acquired competences among other colleagues.This project will fight against racism, xenophobia and discrimination issues. Project’s implementation will promote unity and European sense of the Lithuanian society, will help to solve problems, related to disjuncture of national minorities, especially taking into consideration unstable geopolitical situation and refugees crisis in the EU.
