Background of the project:We require our staff to widen their knowledge and current key competences and skills required in ICT, in particular the use of and access to tablets for instruction and learning. Our staff should improve the quality of the instruction, studying and learning processes through the use of tablets. Our staff needs to attain a higher degree of competences and skills, and to develop new strategies that can be integrated into tablet methodology in the learning process.
Our purposes are to help people -especially adults -to have access in new learning methods and to promote lifelong learning through courses and seminars ,our organisation will organise in the future.
Number and profiles of participants:We are going to apply for five participants, who are members of the organisation.
They will be selected among other candidates because they are expertees in ICT and have experience with innovative projects.
The first participant will further develop the organisation policy plan on innovation. The second participant will lead the team of innovation . The third participant will be responsible for new didactical methods for the rest of the members. The fourth participant will be in charge for organising free lessons for all adults who will want to be familiar with new innovating methods under the frame of lifelong learning and the firth participant will be responsilbe for expanding new methodologies in adults with special needs
Description of activities: In General
SUNDAY – introduction and preparation for the course
MONDAY – working with photos
TUESDAY – new workplace approach
THURSDAY- gamification and ebook creation
FRIDAY – tablets in practice
SATURDAY – revision and report-Erasmus+ KA2. Regulations and advices for successful applications
The working methodology of the Course TSP and the areas covered offer potential to equip qualified staff in:
- International complement of highly qualified instructors
- The exchange of competencies in group sharing sessions with international users will give an opportunity for individual participants to share with other users their current deployment of tablets in their organisation and throughout instructional se
- The identification and review of practical tablet applications for instructors, particularly in realtion to news and media applications in creating text, video clips, podcasts, presentations, screencasting, images, pdf files, e-books, mind and concept maps, maps etc.
- The dissemination of International innovative information, shared expertise and experiences regarding the use of tablets (iPad, Android, Windows).
-A forum to view best practice approaches and practical examples in the use of iPads and tablets in a diverse number of organisations in different countries
Learning outcomes:
- “tap-swipe-pinch” revolutionary features of usability and accessibility of tablets in organisations
- advantages and disadvantages of tablets usages in the learning process compared and contrasted with other ICT devices
- a range of free Apps covering different content and activities to support learning, communication and self-assessment (collaborative writing, digital photography, video, audio usability, presentation apps, assessment, evaluation, gamefication, etc.)
- best practice approaches and practical examples for using iPads and tablets in learning environments in different countries,
- responsible and safe use of tablets and new media
- identifying and reviewing practical tablet applications for instructors, news and media applications useful for organisations and their staff (creating text, video clips, podcasts, presentations, screencasting, images, pdf files, e-books, mind and concept maps, maps etc.)
- both individual and small groups work, together with their iPads and other tablets, to develop skills in using the applications referred to the learning outcomes above,
At organisational level we are going to create and upload a website, to use social media for dissemination of the knowledge and to organise meetings and courses. We are going to inform other organisations about our innovative activities and our NA in purpose for them to use the knowledge which our staff will gain
We have in mind with the cooperation and instructions by our NA to create a team of expertees in use of tablets in lifelong learning field because educational needs change every day
As a result of the course the innovative activities and dimension of the organisation will increase. Future staff and volunteers will benefit from the initiatives undertaken by the course participants.
Our innovative activities will include stakeholders outside the organisation: members, collaborative partners.
We intend to organize courses in our country in cooperation with our NA and to use new technology (tablets) for our purposes
