Project "Take your CHANCE" is directed at young people at the age of 18 - 30 interested in doing EVS project and to children and youth using the services of Association for children and Young People CHANCE. It will take place from 1.08.2014 to 30.05. 2015. It The main aim of the project is to activate and motivate the EVS volunteers to take active approach to enhancing their chances in development, fight with unemployment and social development through work with young people, using non-formal education, sport participation and integration. In the project two EVS volunteers and the children and youngsters of Głogów will take part. The place of the activities will be Association for Children and Young People CHANCE. In the framework of the project we are going to do sport and educational activities for children and youth participating in the activities of the association. EVS volunteers altogether with the people responsible for the implementation of the project will organise: - workshops for youth, meeting with experts and other activities on healthy life style - outdoor events - sport actions, picnics, happenings CHANCE cooperates with other institutions and NGOs in Głogów and our region , and our aim is also to improve the communication and cooperation of them for the benefit of the local community. CHANCE uses the methodology of non-formal education and "Take your C HANCE" will be run according to these priorities. EVS volunteers, who will participate in the project, will gain new experiences and skillls of youth work and develop the attitude of tolerance and integration. The sense of their entrepreneurship will raise, and what follows, they will have better chances on the job market. Recipients of the project activities, as well as the volunteers will have possibility to take part in many sport events and educational events showing the advantages of healthy lifestyle . Local community will grow a bigger "appetite" for their own initiatives and the the information on EVS and Erasmus + will become more accesible.
