The main aim of the project is developing qualifications of the teachers through perfecting their language skills, broading their knowledge of new technologies and methods of teaching foreign languages, and the knowledge of cultural and civilizational realia of European countries.Twenty one teachers and staff employee and a rehabilitation trainer take part in the project, they are all from the ZSI in Radom. They are English, History, Polish, Science. P.E and teachers responsible for helping the disabled children during lessons.Two teachers will participate in new technologies course and five teachers will participate in a course in e-teaching. A few teachers will participate in language and methodology course and one will learn about using technology in teaching. A group of 13 teachers will take part in language training. The main activities concentrate on choosing teachers and courses according to the school’s needs and cooperating with different training centres. In the beginning necessary language and meritorical preparations will be conducted. The participants will prepare a language passport and asses their skills and determine their expectations for the planned courses.After the course the participants will evaluate acquire skills and qualifications. They will receive certificates and Europass Mobility as a proof of the attendance.Simultaneously the participants will share their knowledge and experience with other teachers and employees at school. They will also conduct lessons using the techniques and methods they have learnt. The headmaster, other teachers and students will have the opportunity observe and express their opinions.The project participants will cooperate with European training centres and will try to realize further international initiatives, they will also conduct activities on e-Twinning platform.In order to complete the project the participants and the coordinator will evaluate and prepare the final report.In further perspective of the school development the acquired competences will be a benefit to the whole school work quality. The number of teachers developing their professional qualifications will increase, and the number of people interested in international cooperation and exchange of good practice will also increase.
