Our school, Szamos Mátyás Vendéglátóipari Szakközépiskola és Szakiskola would like to send this year again two groups of students to a 3 weeks foreign vocational practice. 12-12 students would travel to Italy (Milan), and 12 to Austria (Vienna). We will choose the Italian group from the English speaking, the Austrian group from the German speaking students, as these will be the work languages. The content of the groups will be: 5 cook, 5 waiter/waitress, 2 confectionery. It is very important in the hospitality sector that the students would meet with lots of different nation's culture and gastronomic specifics. The participant students will widen their language and professional skills, and significantly rise their opportunities at finding a job after they finish their studies. We would like to provide a good practice towards the other vocational institutes of Hungary with the successful project. Our goal is to rise the performance and quality of the Hungarian hospitality sector in an indirect way. We plan the execution of the the project at the beginning of the new semester of 2014/15. After the winner notification we will select the participants still in this semester (June), than at the very beginning of September we will hold the preparation sessions, and organise the 3 weeks trip for the end of September 2014 with 2 accompanying teacher per each group .
