The applying institute is a secondary school of trade. It aims to provide up-to-date, the socio-economic needs-based knowledge and adapted to European standards in the region for those who want to work in the commerce and business. We provide training in three sectors: advanced logistics executive, commercial executive and shop assistant. The AIM of the project is to perform the work placement of a group of students in the United Kingdom, which will improve their professional skills and competences, with special regard to their foreign language, entrepreneur, civic, intercultural and digital competences. A further aim is to develop a culture of learning and teaching methods, in particular the development of non-formal and informal learning opportunities in the field of knowledge capacity. We wish to increase students' performance achieved in professional subject and we intend to reduce the dropout rate. We hope that the international internship will increase our students' adaptability, autonomy. We would like the project to contribute to their marketable skills which enable them to enter the labor market and grow their employment chances. The partner institution is the Training Vision in Portsmouth (UK), a member of the Education and Training Network. The beneficiaries of the project are 12 students, under the supervision of two accompanying teachers. The implementation steps include: evolving the project management, an introduction to the project, the choice of beneficiaries, followed by professional, linguistic, cultural and educational preparation of the students. During the internship tutoring and mentoring of students will be organized by the foreign partner institution, but the two of our colleagues are going to be involved in the tutoring process. During their stay in Portsmouth the students will keep work journals and will work on a pre-defined essay topic. On our return, we will organize reports, exhibitions, we will prepare a file of written materials (essay collections, worksheets, which will be included in the local curriculum of our institution in respect of vocational subjects. On short-term the project will have a positive impact both on the students' personal development and on the institute itself, because the good pedagogical practices can be incorporated into our program. We expect that in the long run, as - having tried a UK venue for the first time - we can establish a long-term partnership with the firms and the practice places..
