Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

ROC West-Brabant (ROCWB) is a regional centre of 8 colleges of vocational education and training, 10 Schools of pre-vocational education and a centre for Adult Education in the South of the Netherlands. ROCWB aims to be a VET centre for high quality education for all people irrespective of their age, background or social position. The education and training we offer, aims to qualify people for the demands of the national and international labour market, thus enhancing their opportunities for a better position in society; to contribute to people’s personal development; to prepare people to function better in a multicultural, diverse and complex society. ROC WB has about 25 000 students and 2500 staff members. In the past 10 years ROC WB has focussed on Internationalization of the curricula, encouraging students, teachers and trainers with new approaches in teaching and learning. In this project ROCWB further implements the European instruments for lifelong learning, makes further use of the transparency instruments EQF, ECVET and Europass to improve the quality of (international) mobility and to stimulate and facilitate lifelong learning of individuals. ROC WB has built up a sustainable network of international partners which offers options for both work placements and further study. Together with these partners ROCWB implements the European instruments for lifelong learning in order to create transparancy. Partners need to use and implement ,ECVET and Europass in order to guarantee the quality of (international) incoming and outgoing mobilities. The partners agreed also in a Memorandumof Understanding that they will invest in reciprocity of activities - exchange of knowledge and experience will stimulate and facilitate lifelong learning of individuals in flexible pathways. All partners are experienced in ecvet projects , has an international strategy and mobility projects as this one are a core part of it. They have great experience in doing student and staff mobility, and partners do their best to ensure that there is an appropriate match between sending organization and the hosts/partners. Opening up RocAbroad for their students, exchanging new technologies, sharing knowledge with our partners will catalize new activities and initiatives for life long learning. In particular in this project ROCWB will link results and intelectual outputs of the ERASMUS+ KA2 Stinfash project in order to implement this concept in more Colleges: this means that we will give all students and teachers the possibility to register more results of learning mobilities and exchange knowledge with peers in the RocAbroad learning community. For the KA1 Project team the learning community will open up possibilities to compare portfolio's and referr results to key competences and learning outcomes with specific program competences . ROC ABROAD tool: ROC West-Brabant developed in ELOS and TTO partnership of Europees Platform Agency an innovative tool for registering International learning activities and linking them to EU framework of Key competences. This quality tool is transferred and implemented in the project activities of its international partnership. This tool is a web based environment in which the Learning outcomes will be registered and portfolio of our students and students of the partner colleges in Erasmus+ Stinfash project will be built.
