The Sustainable School Policy Declaration is on the school homepage: http://www.fa.is/fjolbrautaskolinn/sjalfbaernistefna/
The Sustainable School Council is responsible for implementing the sustainable policy declaration in all parts of the daily school life. The council agrees on a Sustainable Management and Activity Plan (SMAP) for one year at a time. The SMAP contains measurable goals and indicators which will be used to evaluate the work. The council publishes at the end of each school year a report with the goals, indicators and the results of the evaluation.
The SMAP for the school year 2013/2014 is on the school homepage: http://www.fa.is/fjolbrautaskolinn/sjalfbaernistefna/adgerdaraaetlun-20132014/
The 3 activities applied for as part of the Erasmus+ Learning Mobility of Individuals programme are:
Activity 1 - Sustainable School
Activity 2 - Reduction of Early School Leaving
Activity 3 - IT literacy
All activities will be integrated in the SMAP for the school years 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 and have direct impact on school management, teachers, students and parents in the long term in creating a sustainable learning environment.
