Association of teachers for adult education at secondary schools prepared an Erasmus+, KA1 project called Supporting adults to succeed. Our organization is an NGO in which educational staff from secondary schools all around Slovenia are included. Our main goal in our European plan for internationalisation is to promote and develope education of adults learning in formal education. In last three years we started to work internationally and we carried out this project and we already finished one, also the third Erasmus+ KA1 has been approved. We were partners with organization from Latvia which is really successful in adult education and has a very long tradition. They educate adults with a same goal: to raise a number of students in adult education and fight against drop- out. That is among others also a goal of Erasmus+ programme. The main goals of our project were: to observe adult education and educational system in Latvia, to transfer good teaching methods into Slovene adult education. We were also interested in prevention programme at Latvia school which reduces drop-out. Group of adults is a risk group because they already left school once so they need a prevention programme. Five participants attended a mobility of 7 days with a purpose of job shadowing. During a project we were also developing our new project idea with our partner - a new programme for adults - to prevent drop-outs. This programme will be important because it focuses on psychological and emotional part of adult education - to empower participants to be able to finish education. The management of a project included: preparation, participants selection, preparation of participants, accomplishment of a programme, evaluation and disemination. We maneged to do overall evaluation and dissemination of a project and we established sustainable results by starting to prepare a new project in strategic partnership in a year 2017.
