This combined study trip including a seminar for exchanging contacts among the partners provides the staff of organizations working with children and youths with the possibility to attain information about the system in Italy and in the same time with the possibility to get in touch with potential partner organizations from Italy for the first time. 14 staff members of leisure time and education centers for children as well as other organizations will be informed about the system of working with children and youths in Italy, get to know potential partners and have the possibility to work together on the first ideas for the future common activities. In the near future, the participating organizations would like to develop and offer more activities outside formal education in European context. For initiating European activities, however, the organizations are currently provided neither with the necessary information about and contacts with European partners nor with sufficient information about financing such activities. The staff of the particular organizations had communicated impulses, wishes and ideas which were summed up by the superior state association. After that, the state association contacted the German project partner and asked him to arrange and realize this activity. The awaited output should contain particular ideas for the development of common activities as well as motivation and readiness of the participants to realize international activities with resources currently available. According to the plans, an interregional cooperative structure between the West-Saxon area and the region of Veneto in Italy should be developed in the near future.
