Street ART
Start date: Sep 1, 2009,

In city souranding we can see lot of youngsters who are dealing with urban art, and people aroung them make prajudice and are very often discriminated and stereotyped by the society as a group of young people with "problematic" and "anti-social" behavoir. This makes their social integration very difficult and as a group they appear to be excluded by the society. During 8 days in Banja Luka - BiH, the participants will not only explore urban art; but will also work on their personal relation to this specific art and to the other young people; their own place in the society and the level of their social activism.Idea of this excange is to gather 32 young people from 8 diferent coutnres (Italy, Poland, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Spain, Greece and BiH), to work on Street ART workshops shering experience and methods in diferent tipes of art. Exploring Street ART is mainly aimed at support of youngsters in their social inclusion and active citizenship. It will encourage establishment of contacts and relationships between young urban artiste and the other young people; and will contribute to popularization and social acceptance of urban art, thus supporting young people to get involved in outdoor sport activities of this type. Total grant requested from the Youth in Action programme is 26260 Euros, and our contribution is 1500 Euros
