Стимулиране развитието на устойчиви предприемачески дейности в сферата на алтернативния туризъм в планинските и погранични райони на България

Project "Boosting development of sustainable entrepreneurial tourism activities in the mountain and border areas in Bulgaria" is about conducting a mobility internship for students from Bulgaria for training and exchange of best practices in France and the Netherlands.
The project aims to stimulate entrepreneurial thinking among young people , to improve their professional skills in tourism , to deliver solutions for the implementation of best practices and innovative methods in Bulgaria's mountainous and border areas and finally to provide the local population with new opportunities to create an alternative economy based on sustainable small green businesses.
Participants will be 60 young people from Bulgaria - students in vocational schools located in mountainous and border areas , aged 16 to 18 years , which will be divided into two streams of 30 people.
Activities planned are: selection of participants , linguistic and cultural preparation , training and share of experience in the field of alternative rural, mountain and eco tourism in Southern France and the Netherlands, organizing a round table in Bulgaria for presenting and discussing the experience learned from the students in both countries, reporting, spreading results and evaluation of the impact of the project.
The project will be implemented by a national consortium "Free element - Gabi Tour - Vasil Levski - Ivan Marangozov - Hristo Botev ERASMUS +" in which partners are the NGO "Club sports and adventure " Free element" (main applicant and coordinator of the project), Gabi Tour Ltd , responsible for tourism activities and relationships with foreign partners , the school "Vasil Levski " in Cherni Osam, School of tourism " Ivan Marangozov " in Aprilci and School of agriculture and economy " Hristo Botev " in Svilengrad - beneficiaries of the project and responsible for the selection of participants . Foreign hosting partners are: Association "Mission Bulgarie" in France and European Centre for Eco and Rural Tourism (ECEAT) in the Netherlands. All partners will support each other and cooperate for the implementation of the activities at each stage of the project.
Expected results include improving practical knowledge in the tourism field of the young people from Bulgaria, better English speaking abilities, higher qualification and acquaintance with the EU standarts, raising skills to start their own business in mountainous and border areas . Creating good international contacts will open new opportunities for professional realization of the youngsters. In the long term, the project would contribute to create an alternative economy of small entrepreneurs in the field of alternative tourism and permanently reduce youth unemployment.
