This application regards participation to an In-Service Training course, held at the Clare Education Centre in Ennis, Ireland. The Training Course is arranged by STAYON ( www.stayon.org)
Polarsirkelen upper secondary school, as well as the whole county of Nordland (Norway )has over the last decade spent a lot of time and effort focusing the issue of scool dropout.
Several measures and actions have been implemented in school during this time. Some of the measures seem to work - others don't.
Participation in this Training course will give us a new base of shared experiences and knowledge. This accomodated new insight to the theme will hopefully give us some additional toools in order to improve our effort in our own school.
Vi plan to participate with totally 5 persons - some school leaders, and some teachers.
