The ICF is a holistic classification system, which does not only take regards on the activities or tasks a person can’t do according to their impairment. ICF also considers environmental aspects and capabilities of the concerned individual. In practical use also trainer, teacher, social worker and psychologists will have to contribute their professional view and reports to complete this system as comprehensive tool to describe the capabilities of a person. But those professionals are not familiar with this instrument yet and need an intense introduction into the systematic.The aim of this project was the development and execution of a unitary E-Learning course. This course provides an appropriate and comprehensive introduction into ICF for those professionals. The developed course comply to the requirements and standards and of all involved partners.The project consortium included five educational institutions, an association for people with visual impairment and an ophthalmologic research organization. This constellation of the project partners, ensured that a broad spectrum of the ICF was considered and implemented into the course.The developed E-learning course is composed by four modules.
