We are a group of young people who want to make a Youth exchange in Georgia on the theme of gender and sports called "Sports in Action - Youth for Equality" in Ureki, Georgia in August 2015. There will be 45 people in total, 13 young people and 2 leaders from each country . We got the idea from a Youth exchange in Spain and we now want to make a follow-up to learn more about gender equality around the world and how it looks in these specific countries. We think it's very important to learn more about gender equality in order to change the future and we would like to share the information we have on equality with all the other young people in the project so we all learn something new. In the youth exchange in Spain, we realized that the girls did not participate in many activities and then we realized that it needed to change! We want the project to show how the countries manage gender equality and to change young people's views on gender equality because this is a human right to be treated equally. We also believe that you feel better both young and old, in an equal society. We believe that the other young peoples' ideas of equality will change for the better, and hope they can include this in their lives in the future. We will have different presentations, workshops, forum theater on gender, sport activities to show our national sports and also find creative new ones, make short films on gender, field surveys / interviews, having energizers, ice-breaking games, group building games and intercultural evenings.
