"Sport for inclusion" is a follow-up of a multilateral youth exchange project, a implemented in the summer of 2013.
The successful implementation of this project has determinate the partners to initiate this new project that develop and bring innovation in terms of organizing sports activities for young people in disadvantaged communities.
The specific objectives are:
-the participation of 60 young people with fewer opportunities in international mobility, which will contribute to their personal and professional development.
-the intercultural learning for the 60 participants who will become active citizens for their communities.
- promoting outdoor activities and sports activities as non-formal methods among young people with fewer opportunities.
- the strengthening of the partnership through exchange of didactic good practices specific for the youth work.
- the recognition of non-formal learning by getting Youthpass certificates by all participants.
In this project will directly participate 60 young people with fewer opportunities, coming from socio-economically disadvantaged communities and 12 youth leaders with experience in youth exchange projects.
Throughout the project there will be implemented a number of activities such as: project preparation, selection and training of participants, preparatory visit of the project, mobility of the project, project evaluation, providing project visibility, dissemination of project results. During the mobility, the main activities will be: sports games, workshops on topics of sport, study visits, debates, sports photography workshops, debates, structured dialogue.
The project activities will be implemented through a methodology accepted at the partnership level which will focus on the methods of non -formal education and learning through participation.
The expected results to be obtained at the end of the project are:
- establishing a network of organizations from Erasmus+ program partner countries, organizations interested in promoting sporting activities among young people.
- the participation of 60 young people to the project mobility project after which they will acquire skills specific to sports activities but also initiative sense and entrepreneurial spirit.
- the film of the project which will promote the sport and outdoor activities .
- the organization of a media campaign on sport issue.
- the closing conference of the project organized by each partner.
The impact of the project will focus on youth involvement in sport and outdoor activities and promoting the non-formal education methods in sports activities. On long term, we will contribute to an exchange of didactic practices between European organizations regarding organizing outdoor and sports activities for youth, using various methods of non-formal education.
