The youth exchange project "Sporffiti" will run 11 months (01.05.2015-31.03.2017). Project themes are art and sports, sport activities, intercultural communication, youth leisure time. The general theme of present project is street art or so-called graffiti, alongside with which the theme of sports will develop. We would like to devote the project to the society esp. to its younger generation as the result of the project - graffiti gallery will be openned on August 12th, which is a significant date, being an International Youth Day. The participants of the project will have a possibility to contribute to the improvement of visual image of Daugavpils by decorating the wall of stadium with their masterpieces. Thereby the society will be able to see that graffiti is an art by the means of which many joung peoe express their thoughts, ideas and visions, investing emotions, culture and identity into their works.During project activities participants will have the opportunity to consummate the techniques of street art and then create their own masterpieces, to present the graffiti examples found in their countries, to work with each other and communicate in an informal atmosphere, to participate in discussions, express their creativity and ascertain one more time that cultures tend to be different. By implementing planned activities, the social and language barriers will be eliminated. The project's main activity will be the creation of graffiti gallery under the open sky on the allocated space of a sports object, which will be installed by the project participants.Targert group:• youth and their leaders;• project participants will be 16 to 30 years oldLanguage:English30 youngsters from 5 Erasmus+ programme countries will participate in the project, 5 youngsters and 1 leader from each country.
