The project Promoting The Competences for independence with young people with fewer opportunities was organized by two partners - CŠOD from Slovenia and BSJ Marburg from Germany. Both are members of the network organization EOE and have participated in several common projects. Youth Exchange project was organized for young people with fewer opportunities, which are due to the poor economic situation of their parents deprived of various activities, travel, equipment, contact with new technologies, experiences. 10 young people from Maribor and 10 young people from Marburg in Germany participated the international camp at center CŠOD Scorpio in 2014 and last year the camp in BSJ center in Marburg in Germany. These young people are deprived of basic equipment for various outdoor activities, as well as access of activities and technologies that promote a variety of skills and knowledge. During the camp they experienced and met a lot of different sports activities that promote movement skills, during social workshops they developed social skills and communication, they gained international experience, new knowledge about another country, developed language skills, gained friends in a foreign country. With this the new experience and knowledge they gained confidence and a better educational opportunities and employability.
