As we are at a period where the social entrepreneurship and solidarity grows extraordinarily, we need a strong civil society to face international problems (crises, immigration due to war or poverty, unemployment) it is important that youth get involved and create project that could help the society. Young people, us, have to be change agents and build our future. Although young people can't develop concrete initiatives if we don't give them tools to do it. That is why we have created a youth committee of YMCA France. Our project is a seminar that will take place in Strasbourg and Sainte Marie aux Mines from the 6th of june until the 14th of june 2017. It will gathers many young leaders coming different European countries. The aims is to give them/us skills and theorical knowledge to be able to create strong projects and get involves in civil society. But this knowledge has to be developed with concretes actions. At the end of the seminar, young people will launch new projects that answers to society needs and issues.This seminar aims to develop young people projects by giving them : - Knowledge about how an association is functioning, differences between the other countries, what the difficulties are - Learn how to create a strong project ; create strategic plan, looking for sponsoring and fundraising and communicating about it - Developing language skills - Share experiences and knowledge to learn from each other - Realize what are the needs in the civil society and develop project according to the miss "You must be the change you want to see in the world" has been created for young leaders and animators who want to get this formation, know how to build a strong project and become active change agent. There will be young people who have already developed projects and that can share their experiences with the others. The participants can be volunteers, in civic service or employees for youth sector, which had already worked in team. They are sensitives to commitment and want to work in an international environment. During this week, the project will be deepen through different type of activities : - Linguistic animations to have a better communication with the participants- Work realized by participant to present their countries- Debates and formation to develop critical spirit, analysis and creativity- Visits outside,- Workshops that imply team spirit ; cooking activities, recreational animations and hiking- Multimedia and arts activitiesWe will use participative methodology for the social and personal development of the young leaders. The objective is to help them through an active "learning by doing". At the end, every participant will know how toplan, do, evaluate an exchange, and work in team and in autonomy to share and develop ideas and take decisions. Our final goal is that young people realize, projects they have imagined, the difficulty to develop one, the different but necessary stages that shows if a project is strong and to understand the complexity of the civil society. At the end of the seminar, young people will have to elaborate a project created and argued all together. The seminar will integrate formations with professionals and conferences. There will be a local or national impact according to the subject of the project that participants will have to develop in their countries. After this seminar, we will rely on executive bodies "Youth Commission" administered by young people in each country to ensure monitoring, guidance and evaluation of projects decided during the seminar.At the end of the seminar, young people will be able to train other people in their countries and become real change agents.
