ACIRKAOS Social Circus promoted an European Youth Exchange "Social Circus Show Camp!" under the Erasmus+ program, from June 27 to July 5, 2015 in Minorca - Balearic Islands, Spain.
This project involved 32 young people 13 to 27 years old from different social, cultural and geographical backgrounds (Italy, Finland, Hungary, Denmark, Belgium and Spain).
Through targeted workshops, the youngsters experienced, exchange and learning related to the performing arts, they developed their personal skills and profesional capacities, and created an unique Social Circus Show! that was presented to the local community.
By running this project we increased the interexchange between performing arts, encouraged the employment of the youngsters from a non-formal experience, broke out the barrier between circus amateur and profesional circus, and promoted the pedagogical networks and employability.
