We will develop our so old idea: to make a shop, where people can buy self-made products, can meet and talk or can make their own workshop. This will be a cummunity place, volunteers can help in preparing, decorating and organizing eco-events. Working with an international volunteer makes our work/ projects more colorful and it gives the opportunity to improve English/ Hungarian environmental workshops/ clubs for kids. We would like to also develop our websites, methods and first of all our community shop/ workshop. Harmonium most importantly consider to provide practical ideas and theoretical contexts to prevent environmental problems and make it easier to understand it. For achieving these goals we inform/ teach the people especially the youth about the different environmental problems (water issue, climate change, overproduction of waste, problems of consumer society), and present possible solutions (like alternative energy sources, sustainable development, farming) through lessons, games and different activities. Global expected impact is to spread the word of „green”-mindset and educate society how to live a healthier, eco-friendly life, how to make sustainable actions, events. Thanks to the EVS we can expand our methods, we can spread our point of view about environmental awareness. Owing to knowledge transfer and social work the local community’s activity will be increased. Networks, self-help groups will be organized. Local civil sphere is increased because of the database development and networking. A community shop brings new market approach, visitors would be more conscious in the future. Volunteers during the workshops, or in the shop can meet students with cultural or social obstacles and learning difficulties have significant problems with other languages. Thanks to the EVS they could meet a totally different but on the other hand almost the same person who lives in a different country but sometimes has the same feelings as they have. Harmonium would like to take part in international projects that's why try to gain more and more practice to become an organization with strong background of internationalprojects and co-works.
