The project was aimed at the activities of the day-care centre for young people with handicap and fight against marginalisation and discrimination based on the disability in Presov, Slovakia. The Finnish female volunteer Noora did her two month EVS service in the centre. The volunteer herself was using a wheelchair and during her service she took part in daily activities of the center (music therapy, work in garden, work with clay, trips and various events) and organized her own activities and workshops (laughter yoga, morning exercises, dancing improvisation, art and comics workshops, discussions with youngsters and their parents about independent life…). In this way she took active part in the society and played model role for other youngster in the centre and local community. The project was very successfull and empowering for all the parties involved.
