The school library at Horten High School is committed to the development of the library as a learning arena. Librarians are often out in the classrooms and teach different topics (including information literacy, quoting techniques, choice of sources, source criticism, digtial ethics and presentation of books in Norwegian and English (development of reading skills)). All staff at the library is involved in these activities. At the library there are three librarians and an educational supervisor who work and are keen to find new knowledge accessible for lifelong learning for our students and staff.On the basis of the courses on SLAMit7 conference we will prepare new and updated courses for our students and staff. The method we will use is teaching in the classroom with tasks posted on our learning platform "IT's learning".When students have finished high school, then they will be able to use what they have learned further in their education. They will thus be better able to meet the college's / university's school life.
