Şiddetsizlik ya da Sessizlik - Gençler Ne Düşünüyor? is a Erasmus+ Program Key Action 3 Structured Dialogue Project. One of the main activities of the Project is to organize a national youth meeting. This meeting will bring together 26 youthworkers, 81 youngsters and 25 Expert and Policy Makers from all around Turkey. The Project is planned for 19 months where we organize 2 national youth meetings, local information meetings, online-surveys, press conferences, Policy Paper (Proposal) and many more similar activities.Within this Project, we aim to involve youth in the policy making process and find solutions in order to fight against violence and re-integration of violent victims to the society.Objectives:-To make awareness in order to prevent/decrease violent against women,-To create Policy Proposal to enhance the sanction of the current policies and laws regarding women's right and gender equality, and to encourage the making of new ones,-To inform young women about where and how to get help when there is threat of violent against them,-To support the re-integration process of violent victims,-To organize more events with the topic of Gender Equality against violent,-To point out the sexist use of the language and education system and find solutions together with young people,Project activities include conferences, seminars, forum, workshops etc. During these events young people will have a chance to come together and discuss with experts and policy makers.Expected Results;Young people from different part of Turkey will come together and will share culture, experiences, ideas together. An active communication among the young participants will last during the whole activities. Besides the chance of expressing one’s personal opinions, those youngsters will have a great opportunity to learn from different practices at local and regional levels. In addition, they will improve their skills as better team player, learn how to work with people who has different backgrounds and at the same time, try to find solutions to a common problem which will develop the sense of Active Citizenship.
