The aim of the Si.Qual project is to define and develop the skills needed by managers (MDs and deputy MDs) in SMEs working in the tourism sector. The project will seek to create a new occupational profile - that of "quality process mediator" - by defining training needs and appropriate training paths for quality managers.The project has many specific objectives: make available the tools required for quality management in tourism SMEs; facilitate the acquisition of strategic planning capacity, so as to improve the quality of services offered and their marketing; and strengthen entrepreneurial culture in the tourism sector.The results of the project will be: an occupational profile for "quality process mediators", and the definition of the training needs associated with this role.Project results will be disseminated by various means, including: information sheets distributed to tourism SMEs, articles in the trade press, and participation in tourism sector events and shows.
