Project activities are carried out in frame of our host projects 2007-TR-17 (1st activity) and 2007-TR-15 (2nd activity).Activity no 1 is carried at summer school, and in selected pilot rural area surroundings of Antalya. In this project are taking part local and European volunteers. The areas, which are supported educational, are determined due to their educational quality and lack educators. With this support education, two months periodical, every day during the week, is targets to upgrade their educational level of the children and young people who are living in these special areas and to fill the education emptiness. Transport of the volunteers to these areas is supplied from TEGV education park. Activity no 2 is carried out at the Akdeniz University , Child Health and Pediatric, Root Cell Transplantation Unit, in the Hematology / Oncology Science Branch Policlinic. Volunteer spends time in common room called Game Room for ill children, who don’t have to stay in isolated rooms. The volunteer is expected to develop ideas for activities and do the preparation. She/he will get necessary support from host organization on maximum level possible within the organization’s capacity.
