Séminaire Interculturel d'Echange de Pratiques et d'Idées en Éducation à la Citoyenneté et Solidarité Internationale

The Intercultural Seminar of Exchange of Practices and Ideas in Global Citizenship Awarness Education (SIEPI' ECSI) is co-carried and co-organized by three partners : "Etudiants et Développement" in France, the "Carrefour Associatif" in Morocco, and Univer' Sud in Belgium. It will gather 30 young people from 18 to 30 years old, committed or wishing to commit on projects of international solidarity or global citizenship awarness Eduation, and having a strong interest for the questions of citizenship, intercultural understanding, valuation of the commitment of the youth and the promotion of " to make together ". With the emergence of globalized multiple crises, that are of ecological, economic or social nature - as the crisis of the asylum seekers which shakes Europe today - the young euro-Mediterranean citizens become aware of the interdependence of their existences and of the necessity of being self-aware and of growing rich of their experiences and singular practices, to build together global solutions in the respect of diversity. The SIEPI' ECSI aims to facilitate the interknowledge and the exchanges between the young participants, at highlighting crossed visions, at confronting ideas, and wishes to build capacity of a group of committed international young people - or wishing to make a commitment - on various innovative and relevant practices in global citizenship awarness education field. At the end of the SIEPI' ECSI, the young participants will have been put in capacity, equipped and accompanied to become actors of change on their respective territories.The SIEPIE' ECSI will be organized in two phases of a duration of 5 days each. In July, 2016, Wiki-week of International Solidarity will facilitate the exchanges and strengthen the dialogue within an intercultural group of 30 young euro-Mediterranean citizens. A first workshop will allow the young people to exchange on their visions and their values of the citizenship and the international solidarity, thanks to participative debates tools. The second workshop will allow them to strengthen their skills of in the use of global citizenship awarness tools. Finally, the third workshop will be articulated around the construction of tools of rglobal citizenship awareness and questioning on these themes.In September, 2016, the 30 same young participants will be broght together again for the Wiki-festival. This event will aim at creating the conditions of an euro-Mediterranean public-spirited debate on interculutural, youth involvment, international solidarity and citizenship purposes, to bring to the foreground a common word on these themes. To do so, the young people will lead the tools created during the first highlight and will use(it as vector of questioning, at the same time to their peers and for professionals members and experts of of the international NGO's. Workshop on co-construction of messages will be also proposed.Through these two highlights consisted of various workshops, the SIEPI' ECSI aims to facilitate the intercultural meeting, to allow the development of an active and long-lastingcitizenship at the young participants, to give them the waysto express freely and differently (via the prism of the art and the technique) the visions of citizenship and international solidarity, to put them in capacity to be commited in the life of the city, to question the dominant visions of the world, and to contribute to the construction of an international citizenship. The SIEPI' ECSI will also attempt to value their word and their reflections and to allow the same word to resound in the environment of the International Solidarity and in the public place.
