The actors go into action in the regions to implement the French State Plan Youth priority 2013, which promotes in its resolutions the commitment and international mobility of young people. In order to support this dynamics, the project "Dialogue seminar on the commitment and international mobility of young people", aims at rallying the experts (representatives of local authorities, institutions and associations) in exchanges on the issue of commitment and international mobility of young people, while assuring their participation in this debate. Its main objective is to further a structured dialogue between the actors in charge of commitment and mobility of young people, by involving the young people themselves, in order to co-ordinate and to adapt the strategies and practices in an adequate way. The seminar will mobilise 170 persons, including the spokespersons group of 30 young people. The young people come from different social backgrounds: students, people with fewer opportunities, young people with special needs. The preparation of the project will include training of young people in formulation and communication of their vision on the topic, as part of the seminar. One of the workshops of the seminar will be dedicated to and animated by young people. The result of the participants’ collective reflexion during the seminar will be published in form of proceedings to influence policy and youth strategies in favour of a bigger adaptation to the real needs of young people. Seminar will also lead to the publication of the guide of actors involved in the field of youth and to the selection of their good practices. The project will last 8 months, from September 2014 till April 2015. The preparation of the seminar will be carried out by the steering committee which brings together institutional and academic actors, NGOs and young people. Seminar will be held in the Pas-de-Calais department in France. Lianes cooperation intends to benefit from the results of the seminar in order to attain another different objectives by making easier the implementation of the projects of access to information for young people and by contributing to collaboration in the field and to assessment of the actions relevant to the youth.
