The National Event of the European Youth Week will be held in Portimão, from the 7th to the 9thNovember 2008 and will bring together two hundred young participants, aged between 15 and 30years old, from all over the country, youth experts and policy makers to debate the future challengesfor young people. These days will be an opportunity for structured dialogue and debate that will focuson the main challenges to be faced by youth policy in the coming years, offering relevantperspectives on the priorities for the revision of the framework of the european coordination in theyouth field. Non formal education methologies will be a permanent component of the activity, holdinga participative, learner-centred and cooperative approach. Partners involved in this project include:CNJ member organisations, the Portuguese Youth Institute and the National Agency of the Youth inAction Programme. Other partners will be invited later from the academic field as well as from thePortuguese Observatory on Youth and other relevant actors that will be identified later.
