Start date: Aug 1, 2015,
End date: Dec 31, 2015
PROJECT
FINISHED
The intention on the project is to create a network of young european people who live in small periferical communities of four different countries of Europe (Croatia, Belgium, Poland and Italy). During the project participants will develop technics and skills in social media, video and photoediting, ICT and basic rules of storytelling.
Why storytelling? Because we believe that telling stories (especially through new media) is an efficent way to face problems, find different or similar points of view in common contexts in different countries, also increase the audience and make it aware. Telling stories has always been a tool to cohesion and union.
We strongly believe that the small communities are one of the engines of the European Union (and for the feeling of citizenship), because of their traditions, their institutions, their dialects, their stories made of historical passages and changes.
We want to know, to tell and to share stories and experiences from four small communities as seeds of a new Europe. We want to mix elements of the tradition with elements of contemporary times. We want to act as intercultural medium.
