This proposal, based on an analysis of the needs of the sector has been taken from the conclusion of GESINPORTS projectfinnanced under the Community Interreg III C initiative, whose results are accompanied, as well as from the lecture of theGreen book for an European Maritime Policy.The project intends to create homogenised procedures for the participants in the capturing of managing personnel. Aboveall, for the employees of the nautical installations, to provide answers to the challenges that currently are put forth in itsfacilities, increasing the quality of services, the environmental awareness and the linguistic competencies of theparticipants. In a way that it intends the exchange of experiences in training material, security and protection,environmental and port management of the different nautical facilities. All this through the cooperation amongassociations, training centres and of investigation and professionals of the nautical sector. It also intends the recognition bythe European Centre for the Development of Vocational Training (CEDEFOP).The significant growth of the nautical tourism over the last years has generated important personnel needs, especiallyconcerning:• Adequacy of the service offer and quality to the user;• Environmental facilities management;• Protection and safety of the nautical sport facilities;• In the development of the information and communication technologies;• In the preservation of historical-artistic patrimony related with these facilities;• The modernization of the fleets, the infrastructures and users.The consortium composition of the project guarantees an implementation and assessment of the results, given that it iscomposed by national federations of management companies of sports ports and by training entities. The impact of theproposal, once implemented, will be of importance for the countries involved, and expandable to those who want to use theresulting model of the project. Given that the commercialization of the results is not forecasted, any association or trainingentity will be able to count on them and apply them.
