Schule gegen Rassismus - internationale Fortbildung in Island

Lichtenberg-Gymnasium Cuxhaven applies to send five teachers to a sensitisation training with reference to migration, racism, discrimination, culture and diversity with strategies for teaching these issues to their students. Very attractive is the exchange with other participants. It would be very desirable to establish a longterm relationship with them and their institutions or schools, maybe even with an student exchange. Teachers will be sensitized and will be able to actively master cooperative teaching methods which train their students social- and intercultural competences. The aim is to foster an inclusive attitude of all people at this school.This project is important for the development of Lichtenberg-Gymnasium with its liberal spirit to become a certified "school without racism" as well an "Europaschule".
