Schaeffler Akadémia és tanműhelyi modernizáció az utánpótlás-tervezés szolgálatában
Start date: Sep 1, 2014, End date: Aug 31, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

The FAG Magyarország Ipari Kft. employs nearly 1400 employees. The company as a member of the Schaeffler Group produces bearings mainly for the automotive industry. The recent economic crisis has hit the automotive industry, however, the FAG reacted successfully to the new challenges: the company?s new goal is to increase its production volume to 3 million pieces by 2015 compared to the 1.6 million pieces in 2013. This goal requires new strategies in recruitment and the company has to plan consciously the succession of the new colleagues. Creating the Schaeffler Academy in 2012 was a mean of promoting this new strategy. Within the Academy the company organizes practice oriented vocational trainings. The Academy has been developed continuously since its establishment. Our study visit aims to develop our company?s vocational training system and to improve the quality of our company?s trainings. Studying the partner company?s educational system helps us to gain best practice and to make our colleagues who run our workshops more experienced and professionally better prepared. The Schaeffler Academy team leader and the coordinator are responsible for the organization and coordination of the trainings. The vocational trainer of the mechanical education and the vocational trainer of the electrician education are responsible for the teaching of the students. All of them have a few years of professional experience. The FAG aims to mobilize the former four associates into Germany to Herzogenaurach and Schweinfurt for two-two days. The project is developed according to a defined schedule, which contains the activities of preparation, execution, finalization, deadlines, responsible persons and participants. A few of the main tasks are the draw up of the project team, preparing the schedule, coordinating the agenda with the welcoming partners, organizing the study visit (travel, accommodation, insurance), providing technical and personal conditions from the side of the foreign partners and application of the tools of the evaluation process. The schedule of visiting the institute will be cited in a separate agenda together with all the main topics relevant to developing the FAG workshop. Mobility will be executed by the project coordinator. Regarding short-term effects, our colleagues will experience the flows and means of a modern, well-equipped workshop, possibly get to know new, student-focused methods, will get access to training softwares and will gain movable knowledge and become more experienced, more updated and productive. Due to continuous development they will face new challenges during teaching, avoiding the monotony. This will lead to progress the matching of education and employment. The workshop is now reaching the goal established in its vision, which is raising loyal, motivated, responsible and well-trained future employees. These candidates have the required academic, practical and FAG-specific knowledge, already familiar with the MOVE/Lean philosophy. By this mean, the company not only provides itself with the claimed manpower, but also saves the expenses of advertising and recruitment and maintains a workshop which is an example to all others in the region. Modernization creates an up-to-date workshop environment, being able to train skilled marketable professionals which helps fighting unemployment issues. Motivation and performance rates rise among the students, not only in the workshop, but at their academic training as well. In long terms, well-built vocational training provides well trained professionals, easy integration, ensures the employee status and foremost, raising a well educated generation will inspire the next one and affect the market.
