-Safer - e Sustainability Alternative For European Regions (e-Safer)
Start date: Feb 29, 2004, End date: Apr 29, 2006 PROJECT  FINISHED

The general objective of eSafer is to provide partners with alternatives in order to methodologically ensure their ITC strategies, and to support themselves to ensure independence on the software market, due to the flexibility and adaptability of FLOSS. Interreg IIIC projects have been carried out to improve access to the information society, but one thing that has never been presented is the influence of free software, in the context of maintaining sustainable development in the information society. By transferring knowledge and communicating positive experiences, this project will propose solutions which will support future development at a regional level.
