The main objective of the project is to improve the safety of local inhabitants and environment protection in the cross-border area of Poland and Lithuania, as well as to establish innovative practices concerning the cross-border cooperation. In order to achieve the goal of the project, partners foresee joint actions such as a working team meeting, practical trainings, and a conference. Expected Results: The activities also include the purchase of special vehicles - mobile laboratories for making measures in different places of the road in order to ensure proper implementation of statutory tasks. Special equipment will allow to measure the mass, the axle load, the vehicle size and the type of fuel used by the car checked. The vehicles shall also be equipped with solars to reduce exploitation costs and protect the environment. The project activities shall be highlighted in the regional newspapers.
