Our school is submitting a mobility application for professional practice abroad for the first time. The project title is „With English for work”, it is a KA1 Erasmus+ mobility program. - the professional practice takes place in Budapest, Hungary. It lasts 3 weeks and the planned date is September-October 2014. Our partner organizations are: MÁV GÉPÉSZET Zrt. (Hungary), Radar -Tronic Kft. (Hungary), Post Edison Computer Graphics Kft (Hungary). - The number of participants is 19. From our vocational school, the Střední škola technická a obchodní Olomouc, Kosinova 4, 772 00 Olomouc, 2. and 3. year students participate from the following fields: telecommunication, Computer and Electrical Engineering, Strong power equipments, Engineering – engines and equipments. - We have chosen such a hosting country, from where the students can bring back home competent knowledge and specificity of the given country from the professional field. - The main aim of the professional practice is to connect the theoretical and practical knowledge in a foreign country. - The objectives of the projects have been defined based ont he needs of the participants: a. the students do not have the chance to acquire new methods and techniques within their profession, int he school´s environment and practice b. th ebig companies and firms in the region require from the employees to dispone with the usage of the most modern technical equipments, software and programs in every field: telecommunication, Computer and Electrical Engineering, Strong power equipments, Engineering – engines and equipments. c. to improve the chances of finding a jobof those graduate students, who own a Europass certificate and have undertaken a professional practice abroad d. the project does not only improve their professional development, but also their self-dependency and expression of own ideas during work. During the professional practice abroad the students get the chance to see new engines, devices, equipments, get to know such technologies that are used abroad, internationally. So are they developing their skills, communication competences, independent decisions. The student faces the problem-solving responsibly. This projects gives the opportunity for this all. It eases the transfer of the participants from educational to working process, which lets us assume that they will have bigger success on the labor market.
