PROJECT
FINISHED
With our projekt we would like to improve and support qualitiy and innovation at our school. That’s the reason why we plan to send two teachers to our Erasmus+ partnerschool in Toulouse (France) – one teacher in the schoolyear 2014/2015 and another one in 2015/2016. The main emphasis of shadowing are the individual learning and differentiation during the lessons, the organisation of teaching and learning, the use of new teaching methods and teaching aids (using interactive whiteboards in the lessons) the improvement of linguistic proficiency and the European dimension – first of all the use of eTwinning and OER (open educational ressources).
Furthermore two teachers will be sent to our Erasmus+ partnerschool in Oulu (Finland) – one teacher in the schoolyear 2014/2015 and another one in 2015/2016. The main emphasis of shadowing are the individual learning and differentiation during the lessons, the organisation of teaching and learning, the use of new teaching methods and teaching aids (using interactive whiteboards in the lessons) the improvement of linguistic proficiency and the European dimension – first of all the use of eTwinning, OER (open educational ressources), experiences in inclusion and intercultural competencies in handling with refugees and migrants.
We will send 6 teachers to further education courses which deal with the improvement of foreign language competencies or which improve our work with the new media. It is our aim to remedy deficits in using the language at the ICT-affine collegues and on the other hand to upgrade the skills of language teachers in ICT. So it will be possible to cary out our schoolpartnership „RYC Respect Your Culture“ effectively.
We have identified the individualization of learning and differentiation of teaching as a central field in which our school has to develop in the future. We want to participate in the expierences and concepts of our European partners. All activities have the aim to increase intercultural competencies of our collegues. Especially in the capital Berlin and in all schools of the city we want to rise the challeange that we have responsibility in the care of refugees and immigrants from Europe and the whole world.
We hope that past experiences about the educational use of ICT and internationalisation will make our lessons more attractive and more motivating for our pupils as well as for the teachers. A central precondition for the quality of schools and lessons are undoubtedly professional and didactic qualification of our teachers. It would be a lost opportunity if we didn’t consider the experiences and the findings of our European neighbours. In this respect it is gratifying that Erasmus+ encourages people to have partnerships which focus the quality of school and teaching.
