?he project focuses on e-government training in rural areas with special interest in facilitating rural SMEs as far as e-government services are concerned. Based on experience and needs identified in earlier projects, the project aims to developing and exploiting an integrated solution to make e-government services accessible and popular for rural SMEs and citizens, to make them aware and able to use these and to provide recommendation for solutions to policy-makers and authorities on e-Government issues. Target users are professionals, SMEs and citizens of rural areas, government agencies, public authorities. Expected results include: specially designed training curriculum and content for SMEs in rural areas; innovative training models combining traditional forms of learning with e-learning forms according to findings of studies; online point of reference for SMEs access; rural e-government observatory through Web-portal.
