Rumo à Europa - Jovens portugueses no mercado de trabalho europeu.
Start date: Sep 1, 2016, End date: Aug 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

This project was submitted under the Erasmus + project - Mobility of VET students for ZENDENSINO - Cooperativa de Ensino IPRL and is entitled "Heading Towards Europe -. Portuguese Youth in the European job market"At a time when Portugal is still going through a global economic crisis, where the unemployment rate, although it has decreased, continues at 11.9% of the population (INE, December 2015), the need to train and qualify young people with effective expertise and differentiation emerges as an essential feature in an increasingly competitive labor market. The offer still far exceeds the demand by employers and this creates a strong responsibility for ZENDENSINO to constantly adapt its teaching methods and tools so that they are increasingly competitive and innovative, thus giving their students a competitive avantage against their competitors.Through two European mobilities of the ten students and one accompanying teacher in three distinct internship training areas (restaurant-bar technician, environmental and rural tourism technician and technician of management and programming of ICT systems) to partners in Poland "Fundacja ProIDEA" and in Italy "Digital Future", we intend to continue all the work of ZENDENSINO regarding the quality of the training of students in the VET courses. Therefore, these mobilities have the following objectives:- Improve the capacity of the educational institution to act at European level.- To provide a more modern, dynamic and committed environment for students.- Focusing on continuous innovation of teaching, improvements in teaching and consequent improvements in the professional skills of the students.- Allow students to benefit educationally, linguistically and culturally from the experience of learning in other European countries.- Contribute to the development of a pool of qualified youth, which are open-minded and internationally experienced future professionals.- Allow students who do not have the opportunity to participate in a mobility, benefiting from the knowledge and experience of employees / experts from other European countries where companies develop work placements.- Motivate students to participate in mobilities and assist them in the mobility period of preparation.- Promote the exchange of knowledge and experience in a business context.- Improve the language skills of students, including the English language.- To promote the multiculturalism of the students.- Encourage a greater sense of initiative and entrepreneurship.- Increasing the rates of insertion in the labor market after the mobility.- Encouraging a more active involvement of young people in society.- Improve the perceptions of European projects and the values of the European Union. The aim of these mobilities, that students bring experience and methods, and on a personal level and at the level of professional skills that will help them to entry to the labor market and while this results in increased insertion rate in the Marketplace work ZENDENSINO.
