End date: Apr 30, 2016
PROJECT
FINISHED
The overal aim of the mobilities is to strengthen the cooperation between Kammer für Arbeiter und Angestellte für Tirol and the named organisations in Europe.
We expect to deepen our cooperation with partners in Portugal, Greece, UK and Estonia.
The high standards of the Rückenwind approach should be "inhalated" and experienced by the participants.
To reassure a safe environment, a mutual understanding and agreement on highest standards of inclusion is our base. To offer best quality projects to young people with fewer opportunities is our ongoing effort and this is a challenge in the Erasmus+ world.
The kick off of this job shadowing was in the international seminar Rückenwind for people with fewer opportunities which took place in Austria/Tirol. We worked with partners from more than 15 different European countries.
With this seminar we reinforced our network for the further cooperation. We met our actual partners and build new trustful partnerships and so the idea of this jobshadowing was born.
We think that staff, volunteers and youth workers from the partners need to know very well the opportunities for their inclusion activities.
We want to support the professional development of youth workers in form of a job shadowing period abroad in an organisation active in the youth field.
The objectives will be improving the competences linked to their professional profiles and broader understanding of practise and systems in education, training or youth across countries. We want to increase the capacity to operate at EU/international level, to improve management skills and international strategies. We perceive Rückenwind as a powerful tool against exclusion and unemployment. We try to follow the modern standards of social work. We work hard to offer through true inclusion projects a positive future for young people with fewer opportunities. This expects a very particular spirit and capacity in working with young people.
We plan to organize this 5 job shadowings with 1 participant each time which will take place Austria/Tirol.
The participants should get a better understanding for the actions supported under Learning Mobility of Individuals. The activities are expected to bring positive and long-lasting effects on the youth workers, partnership and the youngsters with fewer opportunities.
It should be an learning exchange between the Kammer für Arbeiter und Angestellte für Tirol and the named organizations in Europe.
This activity will support the professional development of youth workers in the form of a job shadowing period abroad in an organization active in the youth field.
The 5*1 youth workers will stay seperatly 10 days in Tirol/Austria. (without arrival-depature day)
They will get the opportunity to improve the clarity, completeness and quality of all the phases of quality project, including preparation, implementation of mobility activities and follow up.
The participants are active in the Rückenwind activities and are expected to bring positive and long-lasting effects on the volunteers of Erasmus+. So they want to take part on this learning exchange to improve their knowledge and to improve the quality of the work with youngsters in Europe. So the selection is focused on people who are just involved in the program Erasmus+ or/ and Rückenwind. We will asign high quality staff to guarantee a high quality and safe project.
We want to have a significant learning exchange so we will select with utmost importance.
The outcomes should be to improve the knowledge on Rückenwind, the AK Tirol, their competences, linked to their professional profiles broader understanding of practices and systems in education, training or youth across countries.
