PROJECT

Our projects name is: Rudas students with international experience
Vocational training is very important for our school. We would like to take all the opportunities to take our education to the next level and give our students proper preparation for their future. We would like to introduce them to the european work culture which can give them a wider perspective of carrier opportunities in Europe. This project helps them practice english language. this experience may help them to have a job in Hankook carwheel factory which always looks for new colleges.
One of our goal is to make new connections while we are there and maybe work on projects together in the future. In the other hand this is a great opportunity for our teachers too to improve their language skills and to be inspirational for the students and other teachers and this is also great for our school because it opens a lot of opportunities for us.
With the source of the Erasmus+ project we could provide training for 30 students. They were in Milan, Italy where they worked for 6 different firms. We did the project administration, PIC code registration, Europass mobility certificate and coordination together with the firms.
Three different profession participated:
- 10 logistic,
- 10 informatics,
- 10 commerce student
Logistic students were chosen from the 13th grade and their mobilty was from 14th f June 2015 until 11th of July 2015. They spent 4 weeks in Milan. The rest of the students (10 IT and 10 commerce) were chosen from the 10th grade. They were also in Milan from 10th of July 2015 ’til 31st of July 2015.
The selection of the students were organized well. The study grades, the behavior, the passion for the profession and language skill was an important viewpoint. The chosen students were very converging and became a good team. When students heard they have an opportunity like this they were very excited and committed to get better grades. Few students families doesn’t have the financiel background to provide a trip like this. If this project wouldn’t have happened maybe these students never would have had a chance to go abroad. One of the students from the 13th class is disadvantageous and when he knew he is going to be part of it he was extremely happy. His attitude encouraged and motivated other students.
