The project "Road to 2nd European Tobacco Youth Conference" consists of a single study visit that will take place in Edinburgh and Sterling, Scotland between 1st and 6th September 2014. Its main aim is to discover possibilities of the organization of the 2nd European Tobacco Youth Conference (ETYC) in Scotland with the as wide Scottish partnership as possible. Additionally the study visit is aiming at getting to know the promising and best practices of tobacco interventions in young people in Scotland and one of the most comprehensive and therefore successful tobacco legislations in the world. The project will host 6 Slovenian participants, welcomed by 6 Scottish participants coming from different backgrounds - leaders, mentors and activists. The Slovenian group is the one that organized the 1st European Tobacco Youth Conference in Izola, Slovenia, while part of the Scottish group will represent the participants from the above-mentioned conference. The visit will mostly consist of field visits, meetings and work in groups and will result in strong fundaments for the implementation of the 2nd ETYC.
