The goal of the project is to register and add to a joint list of the potential offered as natural beauty and fishing spots in the region along the Croatian-Hungarian border and organizing various events (an international fishing contest or a contest for the best paprikash spicy fish stew) to stimulate the development of tourism in the region. Achievements: Within the University, a presentation hall was set up, which is primarily visited by students, elementary and high school pupils, as well as foreign researchers and students that arrive to the University. In turn, the Hungarian partner has organized classes for fishermen and an art contest for children ages 6 to 14. In the summer of 2008 Georgikon Faculty in collaboration with the recreational-fishing association Helikon set up a fishing school once again. In Keszthely, the education of youth and raising the awareness on the significance of preserving natural health is very important and as such with the goal of encouraging further growth of the large camp for young people sensitive to the natural beauty in the environment and the experience of fishing a decision was taken to continue their education after the completion of the project, through programs organized within international cooperation.
