Development and undertakings to approve on all levels one priority scenario of the Dnieper-Vistula waterway restoration that would consider the interests of all stakeholders in the sphere of transport development in border regions and would be developed in cooperation with them; raising awareness of the priority scenario of the Dnieper-Vistula waterway restoration on the regional, national and European level; laying down institutional foundation for implementation of further activities aimed at restoration of the Dnieper-Vistula waterway with involvement of all stakeholders. Expected Results: 1) Cross-border Commission on the development of the Dnieper-Vistula waterway has been established and officially inaugurated, its work has been properly organized; its members include representatives of target groups. 2) Feasibility study for restoration of the Dnieper-Vistula waterway has been developed and reflects interests of all stakeholders, target groups and beneficiaries. 3) Chosen optimal scenario of the restoration has been coordinated with all stakeholders on all levels, has been recommended for introduction into regional and national strategies, further activities for restoration of the waterway have been defined. 4) Conditions for promotion of the Dnieper-Vistula waterway restoration on the regional, national and international level have been created; public awareness on the necessity and advantages of the waterway restoration has been raised.
