The project addresses the needs of the local population, building on the strengths and overcoming the weaknesses on the basis of the municipal strategic documents. It reflects the vision of the two municipalities to improve the quality of life on their territory through development and preservation of the environment. Project aims at providing healthy way of life and favourable conditions for recreation and entertainment of the residents and visitors with modern infrastructure and European quality of life. Thus, by improving the facilities around the rivers the project contributes to making Berovo and Sandanski more attractive locations forresidents and visitors likewise.
