In the project Craft in the foreign country 2015 will take parts 12 students and 2 escorting persons in 2 turns. A stage: 6 students + 1 escorting person. The partakers will be students of the Secondary school of engineering in studying programmes Wooden technology, Production of furniture and interiors, Promotional arts, possibly interested in other artistic disciplines. The project is oriented to the special methods, which are not given by school, but are really close to the elementary methods of work. The project is based on the getting the technical skills and experiences about the furniture production, traditional art-curving methods . Level of the work and production will be according to the class levels at school and individual skills and moral steers features. The partakers will obtain this knowledge after ending the stage: - production of wooden jeweler - production the wooden products according to the layout - carve simply wooden figural sculpture - simply and more difficult way of work with special machines for working woods - actively involved in the production in the manufacturing company - work with older and more experienced workers - comply with instructions from their superiors and carry out the instructions - basic theoretical knowledge about manegement of production - information about social, historical and cultural interests of the area - know the usual life, habits, language - independence in foreign country - meet the peers from EU - new way of studying under the leadership of new people - obtain skills about the project “Erasmus+” - skills and knowledge about staying in foreign language background - take parts in cultural and sports activities in the place The project is planned for teachers too. Two teachers attend seminars Wooden buildings 2015 in Volyně where they obtained the new information from the new materials, design and construction of low-energy and passive buildings. The information will use in the new department Technician of wooden buildings. Knowledge incorporated into the curriculum and teaching. One teacher will attend carving symposium, which will be able to compare different ways of carvings. He will carv sculpture to the specified topic. Their acquired knowledge and skills will be used in teaching art subjects and design practice.
