"Recycled Tales' is a youth exchange to be held in San Salvatore Telesino and that was thought from the need and the desire of a group of young people connected to the cooperative Social Lab76, to organize a meeting to promote awareness in the territory about environment. The project is linked to the services that the cooperative Social Lab 76 already developed in favor of the local community for many years, involving socially disadvantaged people. This activity is framed within the European policies in the youth field and applied through the Erasmus + program. The main objective of the project is to create a possibility of meeting for young people in a stimulating and creative environment to reflect on fundamental issues such as the environment and youth participation. The specific objectives are:- to learn how to develop creative and innovative solutions to promote the concept of cooperation, participation and collective decision-making- to develop a collective sense of responsibility towards the environment- to implement some of the tools developed during the training course realized in 2015, "TUC" to promote creativity as a tool for social transformation- to share experiences and good practices in relation to active citizenship- to generate a cultural and inter-generational dialogue"Recycled Tales" involves four groups of young people from Italy, Spain, France and Romania. Each group will be composed of six (6) participants and a coordinator - 28 participants. The profile of the participants are young people interested in arts and education, active participation, active citizenship and creative development of local communities. The project will have an APV from the 3rd to the 5th of September 2016 in Benevento, five people will take part in the meeting. During the eight days of the exchange, the young people will make a work of artistic creation (theatre and visual arts) from recycled materials. The result of this artistic creation will be open to the local community on the penultimate day of the project.During the preparation phase young people will make a research and creation in their own local areas, to be ready and immersed in the topic during the activities.Participants will be involved in a research on the territory, where it will be hosted the project, to collect stories from the locals that will be transformed and 'recycled' to create a cultural hybridization. The methodology is the art - in particular Education through theater, visual arts and storytelling. We are going to use these stories to generate future projects to give continuity to the exchange. We will create a dossier which will be available online for people interested and will also include a brief presentation of the project, including the logo and the Erasmus + program. The participants and all interested parties will have access to this file to "recycle" the content according to their original contexts. Local youth and members of Social Lab 76 will be able to share them in the neighborhood of the cooperative during meetings, schools and users of different services.Locally, the participants will carry out the activities in order to get in touch with the local community. The project also includes activities to deepen a relationship with the community (intercultural dinner, treasure hunt / gymkhana, sharing local stories, final presentations open to the public, visits to the Social Lab 76 local projects.During the follow-up phase each partner will present the activities carried out during the exchange in their country of origin showing the dossier and photographs of the results obtained. It is our intention to encourage intercultural learning, the design and implementation of new projects in order to achieve a multiplier effect, using the experiences of this exchange. The final event's promotion is planned to be done by word of mouth and posters, finally contacting small local businesses. In this way you can get a real support to show the community the reflections, the results and the work done by creating an intercultural and inter-generational dialogue.
