Re Upper Secondary School is located in the middle of Vestfold County. The school has of that reason chosen Dublin as a deployment site so that our students gain an increased awareness and reflection truth other ways of working. We have chosen to use four weeks in the spring for this deployment period so that our students have gained knowledge and experience before they enter there deployment site. We hope that this will form the basis for increased knowledge and cultural learning. The students will meet other deployment sites then we can offer in our municipality and that will give more width in their learningprocess. They will also be able to test their social skills when they are adapting into a new home with a new culture. Totally this will develop the students academic and social skills, increase their knowledge about their own and others culture – we are of the opinion that this is an important part of the skills you need when you in the future are going to work with people.
