The Association " Europe in Corsica ", Information center Europe Express - Region Corsica - whose head office is in Ajaccio, welcomed 3 volunteers for 10 months on the following themes: promote the European citizenship and favor the mutual understanding between young people of different countries and liking the teamwork. The project developed the interculturalité by encouraging the young volunteers as well as the young Corsican to discover other European cultures, The objectives were : - develop an European consciousness thanks to the Program " Erasmus + " - encourage the mobility of the young people in Europe - favor the exchanges intercultural - develop the feeling of European membership The proposed activities were the following ones: - Participation in the days of information about the SVE and about the European Union - Participation in animations (on various themes: citizenship, the history(story) of the EU, the institutions and the programs, discovered by member states and by various cultures,) in schools - Participations with various events (fairs, forums,seminars,debates) - Participation in intercultural meetings - Implementation of workshops of raising awareness into European languages After a period of adaptation, training(formation) and linguistic support, the volunteers participated quickly in the proposed activities.
